Improving my level of being observant is probably the most rewarding skill that I’ve attempted to hone since taking photography seriously. After a quick shoot, with a very defined purpose, this just happened… all of the sudden the light went lovely and my lens went to f/2.0… being able to forget about light and just see it is something that I am very thankful for and wish to develop ten-fold.
I couldn’t choose which was better, so I picked both.

One of the perks about having someone in your life who knows that nothing is as important to you as image making is they let you use them for tests! This is a series of stills shot as fast as my mkII would allow. I sorta figured out Adobe SpeedGrade and graded this with speed indeed.
